GETTING FROM THE AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN

Train
Sound Transit’s Link light rail makes trips from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to downtown Seattle with trains departing every 6 to 15 minutes. Depending on the time of day, the transfer can take about 40 minutes and the adult fares range from $2.25 to $3.25 per person. Schedules and station maps are available on the Sound Transit website. If you are traveling to the Washington State Convention Center, Sheraton Seattle Hotel or The Paramount Hotel Seattle, you will get off at the Westlake stop.  If you are traveling to the W Seattle, you will get off at the University Street stop.  Click below to view a map of rail stops in relation to conference hotels and venues.

Taxis & Ride Sharing
At Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, taxis and ride-sharing companies (Uber, Lyft & Sidecar) are available on the third floor of the parking garage. One-way rides between the airport and downtown range from $40-$55. In downtown Seattle, Uber, Lyft, Sidecar and metered taxis offer in-city transportation from local drivers. All rides can be scheduled using smartphone apps.

Rental Cars
All rental car companies providing service at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport are located in the off-site car-rental facility. Dedicated shuttle buses run 24/7 to pick up passengers outside baggage claim at the north and south ends of the main terminal.

Driving Directions to Downtown Seattle

•    Get on WA-518 W from Airport Expressway
•    Take WA-509 N and WA-99 N to Seneca Street in Seattle. Take the Seneca Street exit from WA-99 N
•    Drive to 2nd Avenue
